About me

I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Chair of Statistical Data Science at EPFL, working with Sofia Olhede. Previously, I was a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Economics at USI, working with Antonietta Mira. I completed my PhD in Statistical Sciences at the University of Padova, advised by Bruno Scarpa. I spent a year as a visiting research scholar at the Department of Statistics and Data Science at Carnegie Mellon University, working with Aaditya Ramdas.

I am deeply interested in statistical methodology and theory both parametric and nonparametric. Some examples are:

  • uncertainty quantification
  • multiple testing
  • flexible parametric distributions
  • variable selection
